The Regal 2450 is reputed to feel as solid as the proverbial rock, and unlike some wide beam/high freeboard I/O’s that have a tendency to “wander” at slow speeds, the Volvo prop delivers a straight course along with a positive throttle response throughout the RPM range.

The helm and passenger swivel seats are among the most comfortable in any class. Inside are as many standard amenities as on some of the competitors’ options lists. All three cabin hatches are screened and the large tinted and louvered Bomar overhead hatch is stylish. Unique built-in steps in the forward bulkhead allow easy access to the bow through the windshield. More overnight space can be had by employing the side curtains around the Bimini and the beautiful stainless-steel windshield frame.
